Chalkidiki : Greece Part 2

Byzantine tower, Nea Fokea

In my pictures I really wanted to capture Chalkidiki and how unspoiled it is; very much like Kefalonia when I went in the summer. It holds a lot of authenticity and character which is what I love. Outside of our resort, everything is very natural, nothing has been knocked down and developed onto to attract visitors and tourists. While it is all very nice to sit down in a new built glamorous location looking out onto a picturesque view, it is still really interesting to take yourself away from all of that and see these untouched places to wonder and learn about the history and experience the real Greek lifestyle.

On a day that it was overcast, we dragged ourselves away from the pool and decided to do a bit of sight seeing and visited the Byzantine Tower.

I have always wanted to do ballet. Every since I was a little girl I would get asked " What would you like to be when you're older Taylor?", "A ballerina of course". Somehow I think this is the closest I'll ever be to wearing pretty tutu skirts and ballet shoes.
I bought these heels from Ralph Lauren with this skirt in mind, I knew it would be the perfect pink combo. Today I paired one of my favourite skirts with this heavy jumper, I love the contrast between the chunky knit and floaty skirt. The weather has been so unpredictable lately so just in case it rained, I had my pastel pink raincoat close to hand to pop on top.

Have a great week!

I can't get enough of off-the-shoulder everything this summer.
A. Because they look great and B. Well, because no one wants any of those awkward tan lines. Not that I got much of a tan this summer anyway. It's pretty much non-existent even after going to Greece and Vegas (Vegas post to come very soon...) All it can come down to is that there is something definitely wrong with the sun this year. Yes, that's it :(
I am going back to Greece in a couple of weeks which I am so exited about. Hopefully I'll be able to achieve a nice sun-kissed glow.
I am loving this little white playsuit from ASOS. It's playful, easy to wear and flirty. I adore the delicate lace trim neckline, it's so pretty against your skin. The embroidered flowers on the side of the sleeves and pockets are such a cute detail and work hand in hand with my embroidered clutch my sister bought for me from Vietnam.

Hope you have a great week!

Have you ever thought of a last minute outfit idea on your way out the front door?
Or taken off that extra piece of jewellery before leaving the house, because less is more? Well... I've never actually done that because I hardly wear any accessories but I've heard somewhere that it's something you should do ha.
Today as I walked along the hallway I made a quick glimpse in the mirror and I instantly thought of when Olivia Palermo did a whole spread in Brides Magazine.
I mean, I know I'm not wearing anything as close to a wedding dress but the texture of my skirt made my mind spring back to this image and I thought, YES. My outfit needs a white shirt! The last minute changes to your outfit are always the best. It always happens when you are in a rush or running late and still unsatisfied with your outfit. Then you come across it crumpled over your chair or shoved to the bottom of the wardrobe and then all day long, you are just happy and confident inside knowing that your outfit, would just be nothing without that little white shirt...
