SKIRT- H&M (old) JUMPER- H&M (old) HEELS- RALPH LAUREN/ RAINCOAT- ZARA

I have always wanted to do ballet. Every since I was a little girl I would get asked " What would you like to be when you're older Taylor?", "A ballerina of course". Somehow I think this is the closest I'll ever be to wearing pretty tutu skirts and ballet shoes.
I bought these heels from Ralph Lauren with this skirt in mind, I knew it would be the perfect pink combo. Today I paired one of my favourite skirts with this heavy jumper, I love the contrast between the chunky knit and floaty skirt. The weather has been so unpredictable lately so just in case it rained, I had my pastel pink raincoat close to hand to pop on top.

Have a great week!

Have you ever thought of a last minute outfit idea on your way out the front door?
Or taken off that extra piece of jewellery before leaving the house, because less is more? Well... I've never actually done that because I hardly wear any accessories but I've heard somewhere that it's something you should do ha.
Today as I walked along the hallway I made a quick glimpse in the mirror and I instantly thought of when Olivia Palermo did a whole spread in Brides Magazine.
I mean, I know I'm not wearing anything as close to a wedding dress but the texture of my skirt made my mind spring back to this image and I thought, YES. My outfit needs a white shirt! The last minute changes to your outfit are always the best. It always happens when you are in a rush or running late and still unsatisfied with your outfit. Then you come across it crumpled over your chair or shoved to the bottom of the wardrobe and then all day long, you are just happy and confident inside knowing that your outfit, would just be nothing without that little white shirt...

1 Skirt 3 Ways -H&M's trend collection has been amazing recently. I came across this perfect matching midi skirt and peplum top in a great replica of toile print. Toile is one of my favourite patterns, it's extremely feminine and elegant. I love the old fashioned feel along with that hint of french style. And yes, you could also say it's like wearing your grandma's curtains.
In this post I will show you 3 ways to wear this skirt to achieve different looks.
Which is your fav?

TGIF? It terrible when you know everyone's Friday feeling feels like the Monday feeling to you. Yes, another working weekend for me. Today I got off early so I had to take advantage of the beautiful weather in London and shoot a quick outfit. Honestly, when you're working in uniform 5 days a week, I want to dress up nicely on my days off. Even if I'm staying in at home and strutting around in heels. So be it.
I pulled this outfit together really quickly which is surprising!Knowing me I'm always sitting in front of my wardrobe pulling out my hair saying I have nothing to wear. I always hope the outfit will just jump out at me. Today though, I knew I wanted to wear this peplum skirt, so I worked around it. I remembered this top which goes perfectly with the skirt; same colour, with similar embroidered quilt-like fabric.  Hope you like :)

I was watching Grease last night and was so inspired by their style. 1950's is definitely by far my favourite era. Elvis was King, people drunk milkshakes everyday and everyone used to go to drive-in movies on a Saturday night. Think I was born in the wrong period. Today I decided to wear my black billowing skirt. I love how chic the crisp white shirt makes the overall look.
