What is it about the sun that makes everyone so damn happy? That puts a spring in your step when your walking from A to B ( or even to work), that makes the stranger in the street smile at you when you walk past. That gets everyone all together, whether it's relaxing in the park or socialising in a cute English Pub Garden.
I don't know about you, but after just one weekend filled with brilliant sunshine, I've never felt more elated or better yet...inspired. Within just this weekend I've produced an endless list of everything I want to do:

-Start up my driving lessons again

-Sort the hell out of my blog

-Finish the book I started 3 months ago (which is painfully dragging on - but then again I guess it would do only reading 2 pages a night before I pass out to sleep)  Ha, so wait... In that case better add this to the list...

-Sleep less/ or cut out my naps. Do you realise that we sleep for half of our lives...HALF. That's not counting the lazy Sundays where we treat ourselves to a lie in, or when we're dying from a hangover from the night before. Anyway my topic wasn't suppose to steer off on our guilty sleeping patterns.

-Hang out in London because it seems a pretty cool place, heard it's one of the best apparently. I want to learn more about my city!!! Dine out at amazing restaurants, discover cool little dingy bars, chill out in the many beautiful parks, fly a kite (which really is up there on my to-do list)

This sudden realisation occurred to me after the past year I've found myself become tired, unenergised and in all honestly somewhat lazy. Turns out my body is low in B12 and I have to have stupid injections to fight my fatigue. But that's another story I probably will not ever tell you about. However after being exposed with a few days of sunlight, I'm thinking well, maybe it's not this B12 I'm lacking in, maybe it's Vitamin D! I feel alive, and I feel inspired.

(Back to the list)

I want to start working out, get that so called beach- body everyone keeps going on about.

I want to continue learning Spanish

Begin dance lessons

Learn how to cook

Now I know this sounds very unrealistic to achieve working a 5 day a week job, seeing family and friends, squeeze in some me time. It's worked up a challenge already.  And I know people who know me are like yeah yeah Taylor, and I know myself.  I am someone who wants to do absolutely EVERYTHING I can set my hands on, I'm a YES girl. I want to do everything there is possible in life so I can experience and get the most out of life. But see, that's not always good, because I'll say yes to everything until I find that something else to get excited/distracted about, where I'll then get lost in what I'm doing and give up. And it kind of goes around like that in a circle.

This year, I really want to find a way to stay motivated in something, at least starting with one of things from my list. So I can have a whole summer to feel healthy, feel excited, energised, and more importantly...inspired.

And if all else fails.. well then I guess I'll have to move to California where it's just sunny all the time.

LWD

THE LITTLE WHITE DRESS- Forget all about your LBD for the moment, because white is the new black this summer. It's fresh, it's chic, it's pure, and is so simple to achieve. Wear feminine lace for that effortless/ flirtiness to channel your inner bohemian. Pull off modern cut outs and lines for a more masculine, sporty approach. Slip on soft silks for a clean, classy, elegant look! The results are endless. Plus it's the best way to show off your amazing summer glow.

I've been following Stone Cold Fox on instagram for quite some time now. It's an amazing clothing label that combines luxurious silks with vintage lace to produce original, strikingly beautiful apparel. The simplicity of their designs echoes romance and boho. Ranging from floaty florals, layered ruffles, and delicate chiffon it's the perfect way to stay cool and sweet this season. Heavenly greek goddesses will be my style inspiration this summer.. :D What's yours?
Check out their site (link included above) and instagram to shop and browse through their lookbooks. The images and videos they produce are simply breath-taking!!
Hope you're enjoying the weekend:)

INSPIRATION

It's really strange that I've recently became addicted to looking at tattoos. Never have I ever been the type of person interested in getting inked. I think I'm just going through a phase and it'll pass. At the moment I really love the idea of small delicate writing on my side (under my arm) or under my breast. I once had a henna of three swallows under my breast, I loved it while it lasted. It's something I'll really have to think long and hard over before making any decisions. What do you think?

Elizabeth Olsen

WATCH OUT Olsen twins, looks like your younger sister could be about to upstage you...
Olsen sister number 3 is certainly following in her fashionista sisters' footsteps as her own immense personal style emerges. She descirbes her style as comfortable and masculine. I abolutely adoree Elizabeth's fresh, chic look with a twist of geek! She has definitely become one of my new style crushes! I lovee her outfit of the white chiffon done-up shirt, accessorised with a statement necklace, orange skirt and strapy black heels. The pop of colour really makes the whole look! I think it's really important to wear a bright colours during winter to brighten up your usual dull and grey day!
What's wrong with standing out?

Lastly, is anyone completely and utterly obssessed with Lana Del Rey? Her songs haven't been able to escape my head since i started listening to her. Her music and voice is just so unique.
This is one of my favourites.. Enjoyy

Alexa Chung.

Hii Everyone.
I'd thought i'd do a brief post on someone i admire who has the most amazing fashion sense. Alexa Chung is been well known for her boyish, effotless and sixties style. She pulls off HOT trends like boyfriend tailoring by wearing beautiful put together pieces like blazers, shirts and brogues. I adore how she accessorizes every outfit. Maybe with a peter pan collar, long socks, a vintage bag or a leather jacket. This girl is my life-long inspiration.

I don't particulary like to wear navy and black together. But this woman does it so well. She is the only woman in this earth who can pull it off magnificently.
So much love for her <3

Inspirations- Vanessa Hudgens

I absolutely adore Vanessa Hudgens style. Everytime i see her in the magazine she is pulling off another amazing outfit. Her style is very hippy and boho. I love the laid back, effortless approach you instantly get when you see her outfits. Yet they are all so stunning and inspirational.
I love how she accessorises all of her outfits with lots of necklaces/chains, feathers and gorgeous tassle side bags. Sometimes you can never have too many accessories, they add that twist to the boho look and complete the outfit.
She defiantly pulls of the festival look with high waist denim shorts, crop tops and maxi skirts and not to forget the cool sunglasses. I will certainly be taking tips from her this summer <3

NEW MONTHLY ASOS "SPRING" MAGAZINE :D

The New Spring ASOS has just arrived. I love this magazine, it has everything you need to know about fashion updates.
I love this full spread on cropped tops, jackets and cut-offs. Wear a cropped corset bra on top of a tshirt, dress and then add a blazer to get the layered effect. Combining crop tops with something high waisted is very big this Spring. I will defiantly be wearing a lot of these in the summer.
I ADORE this crochet cropped vest at £30!! I love anything with tassles. Team it with a high waist denim shorts and a kimono to get the boho look.
Is it me or does anyone's heart a skip a beat when they see that black, white and red chiffon maxi? (Top right) I absolutely love it. MUST HAVE. I really love kimonos right now. I desparately need one. I want to experiment with it by slinging it over a basic vest, denim shorts and sunhat to create that festival look. Hopefully i'm going to a couple festivals this year so bring it on!! :D

I love the photography in this magazine. It's so 70's and retro! :)

Ahh French Connection i wish i could afford you! But for now i will admire your beautiful clothes. I love the middle right image of the lady wearing: a lace shift dress.. netted tights, and big chucky tan heels <3 So fresh! Did i mention i just love sunhats!?
Can't wait till next months may issue is out :)
Taylor xoxo
