Mother's Sunday

Happy Sunday everyone! I spent mine with my family spoiling my lovely mummy on Mother's Day. We had a delicious afternoon tea made up of finger sandwiches, scones, Prosecco, and way too many cakes that I could stomach. It was definitely a sweet sunday.

Happy Mother's Day to the best mummy in the world

I spent my Sunday doing what every typical Sunday is best for.
Breakfast in Shoreditch eating mouth-watering syrup pancakes, surrounded by the buzzing crowds of people and delicious smells from Spitalfields market.
An afternoon taking a long walk with my Cavalier Kings Charles Spaniels in the park and an evening planned to chill with the family devouring a whole pizza watching the final of the World Cup. I refuse to think about work just yet.

Predicting a miserable weekend, the weather turned around and we got beautiful sunshine. Everything looks so much more captivating and picturesque when the suns out. I love to wear colour any time in the year but when there is sun shines the colours look bigger and brighter. Today's pictures were taken outside my favourite museum of all time, The Imperial War Museum. I highly recommend anyone visiting London to go, it holds intriguing history and activities to get involved in.

Hope everyone has had a great weekend!!

This spotted scarf and striped jacket make a great little duo, I can never wear one without the other, they compliment each other so well. It's so easy and effective to clash prints like this. The trick is to stay within the same colour scheme and style.

spring into stripes

SPRING IS HERE- I have had the most beautiful weekend in the sunshine with friends and family. Is there any happier feeling than spending time with good company in good weather? No, didn't think so. This weekend was a lovely preview of the summer months we are all anticipating. So taking full advantage of the sun and exposing my nearly transparent skin, I decided to wear this very cute striped dress from Gap. (Complete coincidence the last two posts have been related to stripes). This dress is so practical the handy side pockets, and was super comfortable to wear in the day-time to leading into the night where I had some drinks in a cosy little pub. I love my oversized bow headband, it creates a great statement.
Hope you've all enjoyed your weekend!

STRIPES- Evening Everyone. Quick post today showing you my recent favourite pieces in my wardobe. The striped top I'm wearing is so chic with a great embellished neckline. Saves you the tricky decision of choosing that perfect statement necklace to highlight your look. Stripes have really caught my attention this season which is surprisingly new to me as I've never properly experimented with them. Whether they're thick, thin, vertical, horizontal, monochrome or daring in colour, stripes without fail, will never go out of style. I love the idea of stripes on stripes. Mixing contrasting stripes of different widths, colours can be very effective and fun to wear.
