FESTIVAL STYLE- Festival fashion is iconic for summer style. Last Saturday I spent the day at Wireless Festival in Finsbury park with my girls. There is nothing better than chilling in the park, surrounded by good company, drink and endless music. At 27 degrees, the hottest day of the year I decided to wear my off the shoulder dress crochet dress from Asos. When it comes to summer I love bohemian style. It's the season you want to feel relaxed, cool and eclectic. I'm very fond of the term bohemian being associated to people who live unconventional lives. When I think of Boho I envision an individual, an artist, free spirited who express their thinking and attitude through style.
This dress is so effortless, the crochet gives it that instant femininity. It may sound strange but I constantly feel I need to dress to suit my hair... and I think my hair chooses boho.

I had a bit of a Marilyn Monroe moment with this shirt dress today. The wind picked up and so did the whole of my dress <hand over face>  I think I'll wear it with some white jeans next time.

barcelona babe

 

Barcelona for my Sister's Hen was so much fun with the girls. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't been yet. We felt like the Sex And The City of Barcelona. We were all suffering immensely after we got home. I feel I deserve another holiday already.
This outfit is my favourite from our Barcelona trip. I love the shape, colour and print. Everything you want in a dress to make a statement.

midi lenghts

Midi dresses are ideal for them in-between days where the weather is an annoying combination of passer-by clouds and sunshine. That day when you want to wear a dress but don't want to show too much. Personally I adore midi dresses and skirts! They provide you comfort and undeniable femininity. Today's look is very relaxed, I'm wearing this draped cardigan on top which gives the overall look a sense of fluidity. These new cage heels are finally in my possession. They add such dramatic detailing... even if it is only for my feet.

spring into stripes

 

SPRING IS HERE- I have had the most beautiful weekend in the sunshine with friends and family. Is there any happier feeling than spending time with good company in good weather? No, didn't think so. This weekend was a lovely preview of the summer months we are all anticipating. So taking full advantage of the sun and exposing my nearly transparent skin, I decided to wear this very cute striped dress from Gap. (Complete coincidence the last two posts have been related to stripes). This dress is so practical the handy side pockets, and was super comfortable to wear in the day-time to leading into the night where I had some drinks in a cosy little pub. I love my oversized bow headband, it creates a great statement.
