Today I thought I'd do a post on what I wear to work... seeing as these are the clothes I am wearing all day - 5 days out of the week. Usually my day is very hands-on so my attire is very practical. Day to day I tend to wear jeans, a jumper and some comfortable shoes as I am always on my feet and active. When I get an office day I like to make more of an effort, so laid-back Fridays or casj Jean day for everyone is my ditch the jeans and dress up a little bit more. Today I fast-forwarded to Friday and decided to make an effort in what I wear to work.
I love the elements to this outfits, the different layers, it is quite a wintery look after we have just stepped into Spring, but it is still very cold here in London.
I wanted to show off my new Ralph Lauren collection knit cardigan I bought from their previous fall collection. It's 100% cashmere, it looks beautiful, feels beautiful, I just stay snuggled in it all night long. I liked this idea of wearing a suit underneath inspired by the look that walked Runway. So I played with it and paired it with a beige tweed Ralph Lauren riding jacket, my granddad's old shirt styled with a tied neck bow, jeans and my go-to black trilby.

fun flats

I'm not going to lie and say I haven't been spending my whole lunch times hunting for shoes, because that would be silly. I wouldn't be able to show you the amazing flats I found in the sale! In the summer I love to treat my feet and give them a break! Today I bought these black Birkenstocks and I think it's safe to say they are my most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Ever. I also want them in white!

Kate Spade

 

I really didn't know what to expect when I entered the Kate Spade Sample Sale. All I can say is I lost my friend for about 30 minutes while we were diving into the beautiful bags and purses and spectacular shoes. An hour lunch break just wasn't enough with all they had to offer. Here are a few items I purchased at the sample sale. What struck me were the exquisite vibrant colours. Especially the zip leather purses, I almost don't want to keep them hidden away in my handbag. I bought the coral little handbag along with the purse as everyone needs a nice matching set. The signature Kate Spade bow is such a cute detail. I'm so glad I went along as it introduced me to a brand that I didn't know I loved!

birthday gifts

I been wanting a tan leather jacket for a long time. While your black leather jacket is always your go-to, this tan jacket isn't as heavy to the overall look for the summer season. I love the rustic feel you get from it.

Zara is doing some great colour blending at the moment. Love the blue against the yellow



Love a bit of polka-dot. Anything to take me back to the 50's.

 

This will be such a sweet day dress. Perfect with a bit of red lipstick.





I love biker boots, they're so casual and easy to wear with jeans. However, I'm looking forward to wearing them with little summer dresses this summer :D The multiple straps are great!

 



I've been spending so much these past couple of months so this is my new strategy. Any loose change gone astray goes in the tin. 

 

I instantly feel in love with the pattern and shape of this dress. Excited to wear it.

NEW: Michael Kors Watch

Bronze, Silver or Gold? When it comes to jewellery I like to keep it very minimal. I wear a lot gold, but I find that when I switch to silver for a change I never have a watch to wear. A watch to me is a necessity to every outfit, I'm lost without one. Therefore to prevent this happening again I've found the perfect watch to match any look. It's silver, gold and rose gold.. all in one watch! Beautiful.
