SUMMER SALES: Hey beauties, So as some of you know there are summer sales like everywhere you look. 50% off, 70% in some of the most amazing shops. So i went out on the hunt today for some new additions to my summer wardrobe. The shop i was in most was Topshop as they had some great offers. :D Hope you like. Oh and how's everyone enjoying the weather? It's just about to get better... I think London looks so beautiful in the sun shine.
Dress- sale- £20. I like the cute little flowers sewn onto the dress. Totally Pixie Lott style teamed with brogues and a blazer :)

Ditch your denim shorts for a while and check out these cute underwear-like shorts (well that's what me and my nan like to call them). The material is so thin and fresh perfect for a hot summers day. The adorable cut and the fact that they are £20 make them just irresistible. Must have for the summer.

Topshop-Striped shirt-£12. Change the style of this sleevless blouse by tying the ends in a knot.

Topshop- This frilly, layered blouse was to pretty to be sitting on the rails. And at only £15 i had to have it.

Rokit Vintage Store- I'm so happy they have put a rokit store in covent garden. It's great. Not one of the cheaper vintage stores but it has it's stuff!! I really loved the colours and print of this shirt, great teamed with denim shorts. £18

Urban Outfitters- Sunglasses- £8

So my nan comes into my house and randomly pulls this out of her bag wtf? It was my grandad's and she wondered if i could work it and use it for my photography. <3 result! How totally cool is this? happyhappyhappy. I need to take it into college and see how the hell i work it though, because it's seriously strange.

When i went to the Epsom Uni for an Opening day they advised me and my friend to check out this great magazine store in Covent Garden called Magma. It has some pretty amazing fashion magazines. And not the usual "Look" and "Vogue" magazines..although i do love them, these are apparently the "REAL THING" if you want to learn more about and go into fashion. So they recommended that we grab a couple of these and read the whole thing inside out. So this shall be my bible for the next few days. Haven't read all of it yet, but has some great photography and fashion trends in it. So yeah if you're interested, pick one up. This "Lula" one was £8

Epsom University

So today i went Epsom University for an Opening day exploring creatvie arts. Now before i went in there i pretty much had my mind set that i didn't want to go to Uni and that i wanted to jump into work straight away. However after visiting the Uni with a friend it's made me even more confused about what i want in life. I think us teenagers at this age are at such a tricky stage of our life as to know here and now what we want in life. But sometimes i think we never know exactly what we want :/ A lot of us change and develop in different ways of thinking so much in life and i think it's hard for us to decide what we want to do for the rest of our lives. But thats the way it is so..whatever.
So i've been told in college that i would need to do a years foundation course in art/design if i want to go into fashion. So i went to this opening day to find out more about the requirements and a portfolio. Yet now i've been wondering about whether to stay on the other years and do Fashion Promotion and Imaging, which consists of mainly Fashion buying, styling and fashion photography and journalism. This is exactly what i want to do but i would have to stretch it out for 4 years before getting anyway with a career. To me that seems like a waste of time, but the knowledge i'd get out of it seems pretty rewarding. However i could get straight into doing fashion PR with an internship for 6 months..but who knows how that could turn out if i'm not ready to jump head first into the fashion industry. :/
So my advice for you guys is to take you're time with school and college. Take your time to explore different things. And it's all about finding the things you don't like in which will help you open up doors to the things you do like so you know exactly where you stand. Make sure you're doing what you love and that its not a chore because it will soon enough become your life.

New York City Babyy

"New York, Concrete Jungle Where Dreams Are Made Of, There's Nothing You Can't Do"

Sorry about the late post. I've had a sudden Photography deadline since i've been back from New York.  I thought i'd spare some time to post a few pictures i took whilst out in New York. I'm not the best photographer in the world. I'm still learning as i go along..so just bare with me :) SO i went to New York for 4 days and I really enjoyed it, it's pretty much like London; buildings, shopping and more buidlings. We got to walk the streets of New York, eat American food, speak to American people, and shop in the American shops :) I don't think it's really that relaxing holiday like Spain where you could take a break from reality and go the beach. It's still a hectic, working city yet it's more magical. Something you'd see out of a movie haha.
Overall i thought it was a pretty worthwhile experience. I got a lot out of it, learned new things and saw things from different perspectives, which is what makes photography what it is. Somehow i think the school trip kinda ruined my first experience of New York but I would defiantly go back one day as i think there is so much more to see. One thing i want to do from my "list" is live in New York for a year and see what oppurtunities are available and what i can grab from them.
